Koinonia Theological Seminary
Located in Davao, Philippines, the Koinonia Theological Seminary (KTS) provides quality education for the church in Mindanao. KTS is fully accredited by the Asia Theological Association (ATA).
Through KTS, we offer Graduate Diploma, Master of Arts, Master of Divinity (also Ched-recognized), and Doctor of Philosophy in Orality Studies degrees.

Our Orality Studies Program immerses students in a theology and missiology of how God created us as communicators in His image. He conceived in his mind a world worth dying for as he spoke it into existence, then set out to redeem his rebellious children by engaging with them throughout human history with all their five senses—visions, meals, incense, a thundering voice, and the tactile act of offering sacrifices to restore community with his family.
We retool twenty-first-century leaders for higher impact communication, especially among the world’s oral majority. We bring together the leading global experts in the field for training, research, and collaboration. Our work is grounded in global projects validated and reported through third-party evaluations. Across more than 20 projects, our research consistently demonstrated that when we use a complex of 7 disciplines, the impact of our message increases knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors by 10-40% more than approaches that incorporate only a few. Jesus also practiced these same 7 “descriptive disciplines” prescribed by
“The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it” (John 12:49, NLT).
Tuition: The MA courses are offered at a rate of ₱2,000 per credit unit, plus an additional enrollment fee of ₱3,000.
